Dion  Holland  didn’t  compete  due  to  an  injury  sustained  in  the  Mount  Union  match  on  January  23.

At  119,  Snyder  and  freshman  Scott  Bozak  held  each  other  scoreless  until  the  30 - second  ultimate  tie-breaker  period  when  Snyder  won  with  a  reversal  with  :15  remaining.   Had Snyder  not  scored,  Bozak  would  have  won  the  bout  via  the  rideout.

Snyder  is  now  29 - 1 on  the  season  and  117 - 11  for  his  career.

Spade  is  24 - 7;  Smith  and  Terry  are  both  19 - 9  on  the  season.   Terry’s  pin  was  his  10th.   He’s  second  on  the  team  to  Snyder’s  17.

It  was  Ken  Whitsel’s  75th  coaching  win,  now  in  his  fifth  year.

This  was  a  Central  Wrestling  Conference  match.

The  only  junior  varsity  matches  held  were  exhibition.

Matt  Snyder  is  13 - 1  on  the  season  and  101 - 11  in  his  career.   He  was  presented  a  plaque  prior  to  the  match  by  the  coaching  staff  commerating  his  100th  career  win  that  came  January  3  in  Tyrone.   Snyder  is  the  sixth  Lewistown  wrestler  to  reach  the  100  win  plateau.

Sophomore  Colton  Spade  is  now  12 - 3,  and  is  the  only  other  one  with  10  or  more  wins  on  the  season.

Lewistown leads  the  all - time  series  22 - 13  which  began  back  in  1965.

Lewistown’s  next  match  will  be  Tuesday,  the  8th  when  they  host  the  Shikellamy  Braves  at  7:00  pm.   There  will  not  be  a  junior  high  match  held.
